Holiday Zentangle

Unlock your creative potential with our "Zentangle with Watercolors" class! This workshop combines the meditative art form of Zentangle with the fluid beauty of watercolors. Create a holiday design while learning the fundamentals of Zentangle, including basic patterns and techniques, and explore how to enhance these designs using watercolor to add depth and vibrancy. Suitable for beginners and seasoned artists alike, this class will guide you through creating intricate, colorful designs while fostering mindfulness and relaxation. Join us to discover the harmony between structured patterns and free-flowing color, and leave with unique, personal artwork to cherish.
The supply fee of $20 is paid to the instructor at the beginning of the class and includes a full Zentangle kit and watercolor pencils.

Alcohol Ink- Holiday Gift Making

Join us for this fun, exciting workshop where you will get to use alcohol inks to paint a candle holder, wall tile, and colorful abstract paintings. Vicki will show you several different techniques to use to create various patterns on ceramic tile, glass, and synthetic paper. Wear old clothes or bring an apron and roll (1/2 roll is fine) paper towels. All the other supplies are included in the supply fee ($20) and you will take your ink bottles home with you and any paper that you did not use.
No experience is necessary. Your finished creations could make nice gifts for the holidays or keep them if you choose.

Pencil Drawing Workshop: Crafting Your Signature Style

Colored Pencil Workshop: Creating a Painterly Look

In this workshop, beginning and intermediate artists will explore techniques to achieve a painterly effect using colored pencils. Through guided practice, you’ll learn to add depth with highlights, develop texture, and try the grisaille technique for a dynamic range of values. Perfect for still-life drawing enthusiasts, this class will expand your skillset with both standard and colored pencils.
Mixed Media: Pen & Ink with Watercolor

Explore two creative approaches to combining pen and ink with watercolor in this hands-on class.
In one project, you'll apply loose watercolor washes and draw on top, inspired by the colors.
In the second, you'll complete part of the drawing first, then add watercolor and finish with ink details. Both techniques will be covered, with time to practice each method.

Beginner to intermediate weekly watercolor class. Join at anytime. Come enjoy learning various watercolor techniques as Larry will work through different paintings during the month.
