About Us
WHAT IS THE VAC?
It is a Visual Arts Center (VAC) that serves as the storefront for the Rutherford County Visual Arts Guild (RCVAG), a non-profit organization made up of artists, crafters and volunteers with a passion for growing the art community.
The Guild's main mission is to increase the visibility of art in our community and expand the opportunities for artists to excel at their craft.

The VAC serves as both a retail outlet for our artists to display their art for sale as well as a resource for art in the local community.
We offer classes and workshops throughout the year, an open studio space for artists to work and collaborate with each other and a creative environment for mentoring.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone with an interest in art can join and we welcome both artists and non-artists to be a part of the Guild. By joining you will become a supporter of the vibrant and growing arts community in Rutherford County.
We are always looking for new members and artists and encourage you to join the Guild and help us spread our love, appreciation and passion for art to others in the community. All types of mediums are displayed at the VAC including canvas art, jewelry, pottery, photography, woodworking and many more.

BE A PART OF OUR CRAZY, BUT FANTASTIC GROUP
There are several ways to become a member of the Guild and you don't have to be an artist to be a part of our cause. We have several members that are not displaying artists but have a passion for art and for sharing it with the world!
Below are applications for both a regular membership as well as our Student Art Program. Each application has additional details on the Guild and membership options.
For additional information check out our Artist FAQs page that has answers to commonly asked questions as well as guidelines for selling and displaying your artwork.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Guild, getting to know you and hearing ideas on growing our art community!
